The Heart Behind Namaste Praha
Ahoj and Namaste!

I am Anshul Singh. For over eight years, I have proudly called the Czech Republic my home. My time working in the hospitality industry gave me the opportunity to travel across Europe, where I saw firsthand just how breathtakingly beautiful this continent is. However, I also realized that with every new border comes a different language and a unique culture, which can be a real challenge for foreign travelers. I believe that navigating these hurdles is a vital part of the travel experience—it is how we learn, adapt, and grow—but it can also make a journey feel more like a puzzle than a vacation. I saw that what travelers really needed was a bridge to help them connect with these places comfortably.

My journey truly changed when I started driving part-time. By nature, I am a very friendly person, and I found it incredibly easy to talk to people from all over the world. Because I have lived here for so long and Prague is genuinely one of my favorite places on earth, I spent my free time reading the stories and secrets of the city. When passengers would ask for recommendations, I loved sharing the history behind the monuments. I realized that because I am a local who loves to read and learn, I could explain the “real” Prague much better than a standard tour book ever could. I wanted to offer more than just a ride; I wanted to share the heart of my home.

With all these fascinating stories of Prague always in the back of my mind, I found myself naturally attracting people more and more often. Guests enjoyed our conversations so much that they began requesting private reservations, asking me to guide them for their entire stay. This wasn’t just a one-time thing; it started happening every week. Then came the real “lightbulb” moment: a group visiting Prague for three days specifically asked me to take them to Cesky Krumlov. We had an incredible day, and as we were heading back, they told me: “Anshul, you are so good at this, you should do it on a regular basis!”

I realized they were right. I was having just as much fun as they were because of my own love for travel and storytelling. That was the day I decided to create a professional platform to provide high-quality day trips and private chauffeur services. That is how Namaste Praha was born. I am here to ensure you see Prague and its neighboring cities not as a tourist, but as a guest of a local friend who truly cares about your journey.
